the room was spacious when compared to other japanese hotels, which was very nice. also the size of the bathtub was a positive surprise! the hotel is just a few minutes from kobe station away and you can reach the harbour within a short walk.

Very Good

Nice room, good cleaning, new interior, spacious breakfast room.

Staff at breakfast a bit militant. If I get there at 9.25, don't hassle me when the last entry is 9.30, I'm there on time. Also don't kick me out of the cafe at 10am, but then let the Japanese family who are also there stay. Double standards!

Great location, close to station

The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. The black out curtains in the room were amazing. The beds were super comfortable and came with two big pillows. I woke up and the room was still completely blacked out.

The breakfast buffet items weren't really hot although there was a good selection.

Very Good

Fairly modern hotel, a 5-minute walk from the station in a quiet area. Room was larger than in similar hotels in Japan. Good wifi connection.

Love it here. Kobe is a great city.

Fantastic stay here. So close to the station and the bustling city but super quiet and lovely inside. Breakfast was fantastic with heaps of options. They were able to accommodate us with an extra two nights after our flight was cancelled.

What was the highlight of Kobe Hotel Juraku

Awesome location and great, professional atmosphere.

When walking in for check-in, the staff was super efficient and welcoming. They speak English quite well and everything went very smoothly. The information was very well delivered and clear. The room was very nice, clean, and with a pretty cool view. In the morning, it's very easy to add a breakfast to the plan, and the buffet is very good with lots of variety. There is something for every taste bud. I slept so very well in the bed, I had trouble getting up even though I had big plans. The train station is maybe 3 minutes away, and the hotel is super easy to find. Awesome location and great, professional atmosphere.

The only thing that I can think of is that, for me, personally, Kobe isn't very interesting. I am mostly interested in the old Japan, Kobe is rather contemporary. The Nunobiki ropeway is very cool, though!

Wonderful stay in a nice and business/tourist Kobe Hotel Juraku Jun29 -Jul4, 2024. Highly recommend

Kobe Hotel Juraku was next to the Kobe Crystal Tower wc was so helpful for1st timers in Kobe because it was a landmark wc was easily dentifiable from afar. Rooms were located from the 5th to the 12th.floors. It was also across the street from the Kobe Housing Design Center and a 2- min walk to the Kobe train station. Rstaurant in Lobby offering bfast for about Y1,600. There was a big area for reception, an automated machine for check in and check out , 3 lifts, luggage keep and helpful staff for ?s one may have abt going around. Room 620 was a new, well kept room with hot water both in tub and sink. It had big windows with pull up and pull down blinds which neatly curved when raised. It was quiet and had a full view of the Kobe Crystal Tower and 7-11 Signs for room cleaning / do not disturb were all in magnets. Rooms will be cleaned & towels changed only when requested. Washing / ice vending machines available but I didn't hv a chance to use them. Majority of guests were Japanese.

Only 1 English speaking front staff. Warm thanks to Miss Salvi with a smile. If one had to carry big or 3 bags to the train station, one cannot take the taxi because it's too near. The tea kettle was so close to the wall and tv , I would bump into them. The cord was that short. If y're into watching TV, limited channels all in Japanese.

Great value for money and excellent staff.

Great location, near to the station which is also a stop for special rapid trains. The staff was accommodating in both English and Japanese. They explained everything and answered any questions we had. The staff in the cafe (which is also where the delicious breakfast buffet is served) was also very courteous and helpful. Some of the best staff members I have encountered while traveling. Housekeeping staff when encountered in the hallways were also very polite. Our room was a good size and the TV menu had lots of information (EN/JP) about the facilities and items one could borrow from the front desk. We borrowed a blanket and the staff was again very accommodating and lovely.

Soundproofing could be better as our room neighbors were a bit loud.

Welcoming atmosphere. Nice lobby with large and spacious breakfast area adjacent.

After checking in found the toilet in the room had not been cleaned sufficiently. But was sorted by staff when informed.

The Hotel Juraku is a great option for housing in the Kobe area. The JR station is close and we took a day trip to Himej

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Juraku. It was close to Harborland shopping and sites as well as the JR train station. The traditional Japanese breakfast was lovely so many options to try. The elevators were fast and the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the pajamas and toiletries provided. There is also a family mart close by for all your needs.

It is a bit far from the Shinkansen station. We ordered 2 taxis for our group of 6 and only one arrived so we had to wait 10 minutes for the second one to show up.
